My Way News - Insurers nervous over prospect of Romney victory

My Way News - Insurers nervous over prospect of Romney victory

Wow, really?  Actually, it doesn't surprise me at all about this. With a ryan/romeny administration, confusion will rank up there with the smell from a particularly rank smelling {garbage dump] land fill.

I am not going to apologize for my opinions, considering that the gop/rnc [not to mention the filthy PAC] ads have been filled with nothing but innuendo and exacerbation's, as well as, exaggerations, and especially lie after lie.

Well, for those who do not actually pay that much attention to other/all news sources, other then beck or limbaugh, or fox {faux] news; Let me simply say that the truth is that since the day President Obama was sworn into office as President, the republicon party made a solem vowel to "defeat this President," by any means necessary.

It is sad though, just the means they have used.  Literally, they have put the American Middle Class worker in danger of losing everything they have worked for for decades, by ignoring any and all policies this administration as tried to put forth.  President Obama has come up with some great ideas: but alas, it mattered not, the teapublicon party has ignored all efforts of compromise and expected this President to give them anything and everything they demanded; Of which, they demanded a lot.  Lower tax's for the wealthiest, which for an already diminished tax coffer, that would have been suicide.

Plus, they, not a lot of people know about this, they demanded deep cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, not to mention cuts to small pay checks for people on retirement and disability.  While some people do okay, plenty, if not most, barely make it pay check to pay check.

No, sorry ladies and gentlemen, but this is one voter that does not want to see an austerity/fascist government to take over America, and the lives of the American people.

Also, on a side note: I have been told in the past that "I" can not be a Christian, because "I" am a Democrat. I personally take great um bridge with that idotic conservative concept, because, if nothing else, my sister and I were born into and raised in a Christian home.  I am a baptised Christian, and have believed since I was a child, in God, and accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior. This is one thing that no fascist government or its sadist followers can take away from me or any true Christian. So TTHSST to you.

What is America coming to?

Well, did we learn anything that we didn't know about the radical right-wing teapublicon party from Wednesday nights debate?

I don't believe so.  Radical is the only thing one could conclude from the romney/ryan campaign, and its supper millionaire/billionaire backers.

The one thing that romenys own words [or listen to ryan] tell us, is that the American People are in for a serious [nightmareish]  awakening, should the ryan/romney team take over the white house.

Sadly enough, and I've said this so many times, I don't remember if I have said it here or not, is that there are some republicon voters will vote republicon no matter what, without even knowing who it is they are voting for.

Well, they are intitled to their opinion, even if they don't possess one.

Cowboys and millionairs:

blog - mail.com - Web searchb
Cowboys and Millionaires Are in Mitt's 47% By David Horsey, The Los Angeles Times
21 September 12

Description: http://readersupportednews.org/images/stories/alphabet/rsn-I.jpgn the imaginary universe of Mitt Romney, the 47% of Americans who pay no income tax are loafers, shiftless bums and welfare queens who will all vote for President Obama in November. In the real world, that 47% includes the working poor, the newly unemployed, handicapped people, the elderly, veterans, 4,000 millionaires and the nation's greatest icon, the American cowboy.

A few years ago, I helped move a herd of cattle with some honest-to-God cowboys on a big ranch near White Sulphur Springs, Mont. At the end of the morning as the cows and calves mothered up, the cowboys told me how they loved the life they lived -- the broad land, the wide sky, the days tending animals, even the hard and endless work in all kinds of weather.

One of the cowboys said he knew he would never get rich; he and his wife lived with their kids in a tiny rental house and they would probably never have much more than that. But it was enough for him. He had no interest in being an entrepreneur, a venture capitalist or a king of Wall Street.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average yearly income of a cowboy is around $25,000. Tax laws that were passed under President Reagan aimed to help Americans of modest means by giving them an income tax break. As a result, working people in the income strata below $30,000 a year are likely to pay little or no income tax. That covers a lot of cowboys.

Are they slackers? No, there is no one with a stronger work ethic than cowboys. A willingness to work does not guarantee affluence, though. Among the 47% that Romney disdains are millions of hardworking, poorly compensated people and other millions of retired folk who labored all their lives. But, in a speech to wealthy donors last May, Romney said he would not even try to win the votes of this 47% because they were "dependent on the government" and felt "entitled to healthcare, to food, to housing, to you-name-it."

With these comments revealed, it becomes even more obvious that Romney has vast gaps in his understanding of the people he aspires to lead. He speaks as though he is being fed lines by a staff made up of Ayn Rand zealots and Rush Limbaugh dittoheads and has no clue how they are misleading him.

This latest evidence of Romney’s obtuseness appalled credible conservative commentators, such as David Brooks and Bill Kristol. Limbaugh, of course, was ecstatic to have the Republican presidential nominee join him in a world without facts.

The sad reality is that Romney is wrong about one other thing: There are plenty of folks among the 47% who will vote for him -- and not just the millionaires who have found ways to evade the income tax. Working-class men, in particular, have fallen for the Republican call to "take back America" from gays, illegal immigrants, baby-killing feminists, tax-crazy liberals and a president who is just not truly American. They feel embattled and hope Romney will be on their side. But how can he be their champion when he does not even know who they are or how they live?

If Mitt Romney saw a real cowboy, he'd think it was costume night at the country club.

Even though his ad's have been discredited:

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20120822/DA0Q8BU80.html

Romney pushes on with discredited welfare attacks
(Please, just click on the URL and the article will come up for you)

(from subject line) shown to be completely false about his welfare attacks on President Obama, apparently Mitt Romney {believes in the old adage that]  if he keeps lying to the voters enough, they will come to believe the lie.  Well, it has been shown that if you say something often enough, even if it is a falsehood, some people will actually come to believe the lie.   Republicons are champions at this tactic.

Personally, I like to do some research, to know what I'm facing as an American and a voter.  That is why I believe in President Obama.  I do know that there are those who will do anything to get this [Black] Democratic President, out of office.  Yes, I staunchly believe the attack ad's put out by the teapublicon fascist* and their millionair & billionair financiers, are race related, among other things.

From day one, they* have done everything they* can, to keep President Obama from helping the American People grow the economy. They* have lied about, just about everything they* can: including not voting for [and lying about] the Affordable Care act, or for President Obama's economic packages, or even trying compromise on them in any way. It appears all they* want to do is hurt the Middle Class worker, and President Obama. And shutting down the economy, so the American People will hate him, and vote for the teapublicon fascist* candiate.

I suppose it is to be expected.

Another thing; This American Values they keep espousing; Is hate and deception an American value*?  There is actually an organization with that* as part of it's title. I'd like to think American Values is not about hate and deception, but there is a lot of hate directed at Blacks {African Americans] and many other people of color, and religious faiths. Not only that, but with backing from such organizations as the 700 Club, they* actually think they* are Christians; It is actually (only) a way for them* to garner votes from people involved in the [so called] religious fundamentalist movement.

I AM a Christian, as such, I could never be a religious fundamentalist, it goes against my following Jesus's words.

Maybe I've gotten cynical in my old age, and I have said that America will fall if they* take over the government.  It is only a matter of time.  God have mercy on our souls.

My Way News - Group: DC gunman may have targeted it, too

My Way News - Group: DC gunman may have targeted it, too

I LOVE this line: "Lafferty said she has written Attorney General Eric Holder seeking protection for her group, but that authorities have not been responsive.
"Under this Justice Department, Christians are a very low priority on their lists of concerns," she said."

One has to love how these rightwing radical groups say Christians, as IF they are actually Christian.  Too, it has nothing to do with their religious profession, but their ability to incite riots and get obscure people to do their bidding.

Doesn't any body actually read the bible; Jesus was asked which was the most important law, and He said: to love God above ALL others, and to love your neighbor as yourself.  Well, that can't be good, because there is a LOT of hate emanating from these groups.  Now, of course, their hate is directed at our [Black] President. It is not just that he is a Democrat you see, it is also, despite what they proclaim, it is also because he is a Black man.

Actually, there is a lot of hate on this globe of ours, and too much is directed at America.  Politics and religion, [a nasty mix, much like matches and gaseoline] that is why there is a lot of hate around this globe of ours, and I fear it may be too late for a reversal.

Just some food for thought...

When reading news articles involving politics:

one can not help but note how republicons use the word "reshape," or "cull." Such as this article:
http://apnews.myway.com//article/20120730/DA0BDIO01.html
(click to bring up URL)

Conservatives work to cull moderate Republicans
By JOHN HANNA  - - July 30, 2012

                                       ********************

Awe, good ol' Kansas:  Please go to this article (just click on the URL) and then see my comentary on this well writen article by John Hanna.  My words are not meant to be anything other then just my comemtary about what is happening in America by the teapublicon fascist*.  Please note, I have numbered my paragraphs to coinside with his, only to be read after each paragraph in his article.

1)Why don't the teapublicon fascist* just use the semantics they actually mean: take over the governments?  Their intention is not a Government of the People, as is meant by the constituion, its* actual meaning is take over.

2)Political groups indeed: these groups are part and parcel of groups like carl roves group who do not just want to take over the American government, but turn America into a fascist* country.  Why, well, just like g.w.bush is reported to have said: "This would be easier if it were a dictatorship."  I do understand that there are many people, maybe even most people, who would never believe their government would ever turn to something like that; Except that, in todays America, we are NOT a united people anymore.  Just look at what the republicon party calls united: red and blue states.  Well, thank GOD at least the Democrats states are blue, not red for communist/fascist.

3)More conservative policies?  One most wonder if that is short hand for fascist.  Remember tom delay, he said it himself after he was evicited from congress for ethics violations in Texas, that America needed to be more republicon, not more democratic, just more republicon.  America will not turning into a more democratic country under teapublicon rule, just more fascist*.

4)As conservative as republicon controled Kansas is, the teapublicons want it to be more fascist*, not more democratic.  That, ladies and gentlemen of America, is the new republican party: not republican, but teapublicon fascist*.

5)Yeah, slash tax's; Say it sam: slash help for low income and disabled and poor retired.  Todays teapublicon fascist* people don't care about anybody except the wealthest and just controling the lives of the rest.  Yeah, real Christian, huh.

6)Money has always bought votes, but this election season, the teapublicon fascist* are being openly blatant about it.  Plus, they are sadly very sure they are going to take over ALL of the American governments [that's including states] in this election.   Which means that women and children and the poor and disabled will most assuredly suffer a nasty fate.   While the teapublicon fascist* laugh all the way to the bank, with many middle class workers money, and the rest of us, living in the streets.

7)Yes indeed, control being the operative word here. Because that is just exactly what the teapublicon fascist party is wanting.

8)Scaled back?  Has anybody listened lately to the teapublicon fascist* as they talk about doing away with the department of education?   Not this author, so I'd guess, scaling back is not actually part of their actual platform.

9)Awe doesn't it breaks your heart. Hey, (state) folks, who is going to pay for bridges and roads that are falling apart?  Hey, how about police?  Fire fighters?  Teachers... Oh wait, that is right, home schooling doesn't require teachers, just parents who have the time to.... tooo.....   aaaa, well, how many parents actually have the skill levels to teach their children, much less the children who have a learning disability.   Well, perhaps all those laid off teachers can help; Maybe for a fee, they well deserve.

10)Seize is a great word for what they want to do America.  The teapublicon fascists have already divided America into red and blue startes, now they want to divide us even more.  As if religion hasn't done enough harm to split up the America People.  Politics is now the greater divider.

11)One need ask: battle for what the Republican Party will be, it should only be, battle for the American People's needs and rights. Not just ONE party, but for the good of ALL of the American People.

In too many states teapublicon fascist* are doing away with unions rights as well.  This is just one more way of saying they* don't want the American People to have too much in the way of right of choice; See, it is not just womens rights, it is ALL the rights of the People, the teapublicon fascist* want to do away with.

Kansas is like a laboratory,  sam brownbacks laboratory to see if he and the rest of the teapublicon fascist* can turn ALL of America into a fiscal and religious as well as a socialy conservative country.  If that concept seems foreign, all you need do is think back several hundred year ago (actually about 500yrs) pilgrims came to this country; It was supposed to be for religious freedom, but now it is more about freedom for the few, not the America Peope.

All I can say is: May God have mercy on our souls.

Oh, my, the American citizen doesn't appear:

to be as important to the house teapublicon fascist's, as their take over of Washington D.C., is to themselves:

http://apnews.myway.com//article/20120804/DA0EJEEO0.html
Most important is a six-month spending bill to keep the government running through March and prevent any possibility of a politically explosive government shutdown before the election. Not one of the 13 must-pass spending bills has been completed and the new budget year begins Oct. 1.

The warring sides also need to find some solution on farm subsidies and food stamps before the programs expire Sept. 30. The Senate gave bipartisan approval to its farm bill in June but the House has been unable to pass it or a version of its own.

Not even a version of its own can they bring themselves to pass. All the teapublicon fascist want to do is get rid of the food stamp program, along with Social Security and Medicare [and Medicaid] of course.  Again, all one need do is read the ryan bill to confirm that.
All the teapublicon fascist want is austerity, so they can pay themselves more in salary and benefits.  Oh, yes, if one doubts what I am referencing, please look up fascist and austerity, they are in nearly every dictionary.  Am I pushing the use of the highlighted semantics? Maybe, but not by more then a small margin, as they are not doing any work as they are supposed to do, FOR the American People.  I'm not talking about the wealth people who pay them (under the table) , I am talking about the middle class worker and the poor and disabled.

The teapublicon fascist haven't given ANY show of caring about the regular American, so much as they have given light to how they actually feel about making a name for themselves with the wealthiest people. After all, it is the wealthiest who can give them more then we can; We just pay the tax's, the wealthiest can do more since they don't pay so much in (%) tax's.

(I can't tell you the number of conversations, guys bitching about how much they pay in tax's, I have listened to between fellow workers, when in all reality, they were bitching about the amount of child support that was being taken out of their pay checks, by the courts.   However, I too have been there as well, along with at least 50% of the men in this country.  I decided to believe it as actually supporting my son.)

Well, back on topic, all one need do is look at all that the teapublicon governors are doing to take away union and women's rights.  The job loses along are hurting the teapublicon states.  I mean it has been in most news articles and web articles.  Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, not to mention all the other states that have been taken over by the teapublicon fascist.  Now, please, don't think I am just being a mean Democrat.  I am just going by that which is going on in [the federal and state] congress's.

Well, I know some people will ONLY listen to fox news or any other news station (with their acceptable p-o-v) they are told to watch by their preachers or husbands or even parents and teachers. The only reason I can state this, like this, is because: I have known many republicons and listened to what they have to say, and what they are willing to listen to. A hand full are actually willing to listen, and discuss issues,  while the majority I have had conversations with [sort-of] , are not so much willing to listen, so much as get their point of view across.

I pray to God above that they don't take over, millions WILL suffer a nasty fate.  All we will be able to do then, is sit and watch America fall. God help us all.

I can't quite figure how:

http://apnews.myway.com//article/20120803/DA0E2PR82.html

As anybody with a brain not made of concrete can tell you, republicons always set Democrat administrations up to fail. It happens nearly every time, because republicons know how to turn a profit, but always at the expense of unemployment, just as romeny did during his tenure at bain capital.

Of course, after every republicon administration, having left the economy in shambles as a matter of course, republicons start in right a way to blame the Democratic administration for the bad economy.  It never fails; However, as I see it, the worst part is how the republicons are able to get away with telling their support voters it is the Democrats fault, and the brain numb republicon voters believe them.  Minds are like parachutes, they only work when open, and they {republicon supporters] don't have a safety chute.

Awe well, I guess that's life.  How unfortunate, the middle class worker doesn't stand a chance under a teapublicon administration or a teapublicon fascist congress, and they don't even know it. Of course ALL of America, with the exception of the 1%er's, will suffer greatly under a teapublicon government.

Politcs & The American People:

OH, MY, GAWD!!  I keep listening for mit romeny to say something about how unconstitutional it is for the GOP to keep suppressing the American voter, under the guise of voter fraud, but it never happens; Which means he must be 100% for the suppression.

This election is glen becks and rush limbaugh' [and their ilk] wet dream.

One might think, or just give it some thought, if one thinks at all, one might realize just what kind of man they would vote for, IF they vote for romeny; When all one need do is listen to the news about how romeny has been lying [or if you prefer, fudging] on his resignation from his company, Bain investment company, 1999.

One can realize that republicons, of all politicians, are the most deceptive of them all; Especially when one reads and hears, and has been hearing [for months] about the c. rove group, the deception of [or lack of ethics] of such groups.  WHY do such groups need exist, IF their pic for political candidate, is such a good guy.

WHY the need for deception?  Some will say it is because of Democrats.  Excuses, excuses, excuses! That is what I say.

IF, as the GOP says republicons are, the most moral, or the most christian, why the need for deception?  Jesus said deception is the work of satan.  Well, maybe it is because deception is all republicons know; Could it be because they can ONLY work with deceptive ads and exaggerated and exacerbated semantics.  What? Is truth is not within their dictionary of semantic?

Hum?!?

Just some food for though, if you have that ability.

We are the People:

I realize that, no matter what, there are some people who will vote republicon, merely because they are told to do so by a husband or preacher.  Or maybe it is just the way they have always voted.  There is no thought process.

For this writer, I have voted both ways because some people will do a better job of working for The People, then others.   However, at this very moment, the GOP is working on a plan to take over the American government, NOT to help The People, but to create a more fascist government; Austerity and all that.

There are some who will do just fine in an austerity enviroment (mostly multi-millionairs & billionairs), but others will die, because fascism is not about The People, it is about control by a few people, for the multiood of people left over; Much like some preachers love to be in control of their congregation.  I have known people who have actually been asked to leave a church, because they don't follow the rules set forth by the preacher.

What ever happened to teaching the true Bible lessons?

Look at Virginia, or Michigan, or any of about a dozen [or more] states all with republicon controled state legislatures & govenors houses. It is what they have wanted for decades, full control of the government.   They have hated Social Security since its inception.  Anything that has to do with help for the less fortunate, and all that has to do with health care for them, is total tabue.

Okay, let us say that you are reading this and you say to yourself: NO WAY!  Why would they do that?  Well, as this writer has said for decades, republicons = fascism.  They really don't want to help The American People, they really just want to help themselves.  Believe what you want, but in the end, NOBODY, even if they are buried in a gold casket, leaves this earth with anything except their history and a hope for a less heated room.

God help us all, it is almost over for millions of people; IF that is the republicons actually do take over the government.

My Way - My Page

My Way - My Page
The republicon congress wants nothing more then to gut Social Programs designed to help the poor and disabled.   Ask them to make other cuts in programs such as:

Meanwhile, there are countless examples of Congress dodging chances to cut spending elsewhere.
For decades, lawmakers have refused to let the Pentagon eliminate costly and unwanted weapons systems, which often provide jobs in their home districts.
Last week, House Armed Services Committee members rejected the Defense Department's effort to retire 18 Air Force Global Hawk drones, which would have saved $260 million. The planes are built in the district of the committee's chairman, Rep. Howard "Buck" McKeon, R-Calif.

They have a fit if money is taken from their own district, for un-necessary programs, programs that aren't even wanted.   It is only Social Security and Medicare and Medicade, such programs to help the poor and retired, and disabled.  They claim to be the only party of good morals, yet they are ever so willing to gut these programs, despite Jesus saying that every body should take care of the poor, because they will always be with you.

This blogger unfortunately, believes that IF the republicon [tea-party] takes over most or all of the American government, we could become a facist country.   Austerity(sp) is what the republicons will give the middle class worker and the streets will become the home of the rest of the American People.   May God forgive the republicon party for foisting this on America.

How sad

Wow, what a sad day for America; The republicons can't see the middle class workers needs, for their own power play to take over ALL of Ameica in its fascist program of take aways.

However, if one were to ask what that means, a conservative answer would most likely be: Democrats are just elitist. I say that only because I have heard it so many times from rightwing nutz themselves.

L-O-L!!  I can't help myself. If one were to look up the word elitist, they would see that it means some one or group that think they are above others in status because of their position in community, possessions or finance's.  So, if you have any ability to reason, you can realize that republicons* are more likely the elitist, not the Democrats.   Most* of whom love all of these things more then anything else in life.

God help us all!  Because IF they* do take over, America as "We The People" have known it for centuries, will never be the same; Well, not constitutionally anyway.

My Way News - US uses bin Laden letters to degrade al-Qaida

My Way News - US uses bin Laden letters to degrade al-Qaida

Hummm: I remember after September 11, 2001 how [then] President Bush spoke of putting on his holster and gun and going after bin laden.  He wouldn't stop until the man was dead or in custudy(sp).   Let's see, I was just trying to remember how long it took before he then said: I'm not interested in bin laden, I don't know where he is.

However, President Obama, [thank God] was interested, and DID have our agents go after him. With the effort of these bave men, and the Presidents OK [a requirment], they GOT him.   With President Obama's efforts a lot of al quada's [leaders] have been taken down.   America is safer for it; I'm not so sure America would be as safe under republican rule.   America will never be as safe under republican rule.

What repubicans want?

So, what do republicans want, to control America; By America I mean the working [middle] class American people.  If you who read this can't see that, well, sadly, you deserve what you get after their take-over.

Oh excrement, wait a minute, that would include MILLIONS of other Americans as well, so I take that back.  Because millions of American do NOT deserve what will happen.

Now, a little back ground, and I'm [surprising enough] not the only person who has done some research on this: In the twenties, it was the republicans who lead the way, for the most part.  They still complained about the Democrats.  However, at the end (1929) of the twenties, what happened?  IF you said the stock-market crashed and banks closed, you'd be correct.

However, if you didn't mention that millions of working class American men and women lost their jobs, you would have missed a big point.  That point is: that after nearly every republican administration [and that is just going back to the twenties], and even with Democrats in control of congress in some administrations,  millions of Americans lose their jobs.

(As opposed to how many Americans had jobs after the Clinton administration [4.2% unemployment], how many had jobs after the g.w. bush administration [+ or- 8% unemployment]?)

I remember it after reagon [I wasn't around in the twenties], then after George H.W. Bush, then along came President William Jefferson Clinton.   As much as the republicans tried, they just couldn't bring him down. WHY?  Jobs and the economy.  "It's the economy stupid," remember that. I do.  It's what Democrats do for America [ie: The People].

Really though, I have learned, in my sixty years, that people do have selective memory.  Generally, we preferr to remember that which makes us feel better about our abismal [only for some] lives, rather then that which doesn't. It's just the nature of the beast.

The GOP remembers though, very well, and that is how they are able to sneak in the jabes they do about the Democrats (you know, like tax and spend). That is how they have been able to turn around tax loop holes for the wealthest (CEO's and the like) people. Loop holes in the tax laws baby, and they aren't about to let them go either.

Just ask the Paul's in congress. They have made deductions from every government program in their [so-called] budget, except their own [around] $200,000 annual salary, and keep the tax loop holes for the only people who can use them.

Yep, those deductions includes low rent housing for the poorest Americans, including Veterans.  Social Security and Medicare top their list for deductions, just untill they can phase them out all-to-gather.

I could, with a little research, which I hate to do anyway, so I won't, go on about repub deductions, because they include individual states as well.

However, one last point; Women, you better duck as well, because in their vailed attempt to think they are Christains [which I'm quite sure [some] aren't], they will take women back to the early 1900's, and further back if they can, and they will, if YOU let them. I am NOT blowing smoke up anybody's skirt, sincerely.

If we are not careful, and I say this as a man, a patriate, and a tax paying citizen, America will become the next facist country for too many of us.   So, until next time....

My Way - My Page

I was just reading how the republicons are bulking at taxing the people who can most afford to be taxed; The wealthiest of course. They [republicons] would rather take funds away from the people who can LEAST afford a reduction, the poor working class and disabled, then those who can most afford it.

Those undulating words from republicons: take from the poor, whom {they can't stand]. Although, Jesus did say: they{the poor] would always be with you, are the republicons worst nightmare; Why are they a nightmare, because there are so many, and some can vote, unfortunately, some can't vote for various reason: like transportation, or Id's which would go along with learning disabilities, or work to feed their families. Yes, not all poor are divorced, or are single [mothers or fathers], some are just members of the unfortunate society who want to work, but, well, have learning [or physical] disabilities, are dragged down by the other society: those who think they (it's called self-esteem issues) are better, so they have to berate the less fortunate.

Something many people don't know is that since it's inception, republicans have hated Social Security. But, then too, republicons hate ANYTHING that isn't for the wealthiest Americans. President Roosevelt is the one who, after the depression was ending [in the thirties], decided to do something to help the working class American. WOW, did the republicans HATE that idea.

Oh, you may be thinking that I can't spell republican correctly. However, I saw this spelling several years ago. It was explained this way: Back in the twenties & thirties, there were these people who went around into small towns, selling anything they could, including things they did not own. They became known as the con-artist [or in some cases, carpet-bagger]. The republicon is similar today, just in that they scream loud and hard to drag down Democrats, when it is really them {republicons] who are the con-artist.

Anyway, if it has anything to do with the working class Americans, republicons [subliminally of course] hate it, so they make anything they do, look as if it is for the working class American, but is actually for the wealthiest American. Look at it this way: george w bush cut taxes. Woopie! Yet, even thou he cut taxes for everybody, while the working class American got to take home anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars, the wealthiest Americans [who got 2 or 3% reduction] got hundreds of thousands of dollars in reductions, which ain't to bad considering they already got to make reductions of those kinds anyway.

Let's talk about health care: Who can afford to go to the ER and put out thousands of dollars for an emergency situation? Only those who have a health insurance policy, of course [or millions of dollars in the bank] . Well, politicians get such privileges, and our federally elected politians get plenty. Oh, they don't want you to know, and some even don't get more then they are supposed to. However, too many get all they can, without paying more then they can get away with. Now, who do you think can get health insurance companies lots of extra money for things other then research? Republicons of course. Why do you think they [republicons] want to reduce payments to doctors who accept Medicare and Medicade, so they can get more moneys for the wealthiest insurance corporations. Now, some of you may ask: where is the paper trail? L-O-L!! Yeah, right, that's going to happen. How do you think billions of dollars gets to disappear, no paper trail. How do you think millions [naw, billions] goes up the fradulent nose's of fraudulent companies, there is NO paper trail. How do you think it all get done? No paper trail.

Yes, I know it all sounds preposterous. But, the wealthy do not get to be wealthy without doing something along the way, that is a little less [ethical] legal, then the other guy. I am not saying that all wealthy men/women are unethical in their business practices, but some where along the way >>>> .

Change, it isn't what it used to be:

Goodness what one reads on the web and hears on the TV news. If one was to believe everything one reads and sees, well, let's be honest, no ones is that stupid.

I do realize that there are those who have voted one way for decades, just because they have never changed ideologies. However, for many of us, it is a matter of how we see our changing world. We may not like what we see, but we can only change that which is in our grasp to change.

I do know, and I'm not sure why exactly, but it does appear that republican politicians do tend to lean toward the idealism that if CEO's and other corporate heads get to keep more money then the rest of us, they will provide more jobs. Which, if one looks back in history as far as the 1920's, as we all know now, it does not work that way. Because if it did, then millions of Americans would not be out of work right now: plus, millions of [legitamet] home owners would not be without the homes they [legally] purchased during the first ten years of this century.

Dreded politics: yes, many people blame politics for the ills of our economy: which, if anybody is paying attention, has improved a lot in the past year. However, if politics is to blame, then we all can be blamed as well, because those who vote, are part of the political system too. Not just Democrats, but republicans as well.

I could rant and rave about how politics could hurt millions more people then all ready have been hurt over the last decade, just by voteing one ticket or the other. However, I'm not sure really if it would do much good. As I see politics, there are those politicians who work for the American People; Then there are those politicians who work more for the corporate heads, just because they can get more benefits then the other politicians, from *those corporate heads. It is merely a matter of hiding those other *benefits better then the other guy or gal in congress. We, as tax, payers pay politicians a salary plus benefits, for working for the American People.
