I was just reading how the republicons are bulking at taxing the people who can most afford to be taxed; The wealthiest of course. They [republicons] would rather take funds away from the people who can LEAST afford a reduction, the poor working class and disabled, then those who can most afford it.
Those undulating words from republicons: take from the poor, whom {they can't stand]. Although, Jesus did say: they{the poor] would always be with you, are the republicons worst nightmare; Why are they a nightmare, because there are so many, and some can vote, unfortunately, some can't vote for various reason: like transportation, or Id's which would go along with learning disabilities, or work to feed their families. Yes, not all poor are divorced, or are single [mothers or fathers], some are just members of the unfortunate society who want to work, but, well, have learning [or physical] disabilities, are dragged down by the other society: those who think they (it's called self-esteem issues) are better, so they have to berate the less fortunate.
Something many people don't know is that since it's inception, republicans have hated Social Security. But, then too, republicons hate ANYTHING that isn't for the wealthiest Americans. President Roosevelt is the one who, after the depression was ending [in the thirties], decided to do something to help the working class American. WOW, did the republicans HATE that idea.
Oh, you may be thinking that I can't spell republican correctly. However, I saw this spelling several years ago. It was explained this way: Back in the twenties & thirties, there were these people who went around into small towns, selling anything they could, including things they did not own. They became known as the con-artist [or in some cases, carpet-bagger]. The republicon is similar today, just in that they scream loud and hard to drag down Democrats, when it is really them {republicons] who are the con-artist.
Anyway, if it has anything to do with the working class Americans, republicons [subliminally of course] hate it, so they make anything they do, look as if it is for the working class American, but is actually for the wealthiest American. Look at it this way: george w bush cut taxes. Woopie! Yet, even thou he cut taxes for everybody, while the working class American got to take home anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars, the wealthiest Americans [who got 2 or 3% reduction] got hundreds of thousands of dollars in reductions, which ain't to bad considering they already got to make reductions of those kinds anyway.
Let's talk about health care: Who can afford to go to the ER and put out thousands of dollars for an emergency situation? Only those who have a health insurance policy, of course [or millions of dollars in the bank] . Well, politicians get such privileges, and our federally elected politians get plenty. Oh, they don't want you to know, and some even don't get more then they are supposed to. However, too many get all they can, without paying more then they can get away with. Now, who do you think can get health insurance companies lots of extra money for things other then research? Republicons of course. Why do you think they [republicons] want to reduce payments to doctors who accept Medicare and Medicade, so they can get more moneys for the wealthiest insurance corporations. Now, some of you may ask: where is the paper trail? L-O-L!! Yeah, right, that's going to happen. How do you think billions of dollars gets to disappear, no paper trail. How do you think millions [naw, billions] goes up the fradulent nose's of fraudulent companies, there is NO paper trail. How do you think it all get done? No paper trail.
Yes, I know it all sounds preposterous. But, the wealthy do not get to be wealthy without doing something along the way, that is a little less [ethical] legal, then the other guy. I am not saying that all wealthy men/women are unethical in their business practices, but some where along the way >>>> .

Change, it isn't what it used to be:
Goodness what one reads on the web and hears on the TV news. If one was to believe everything one reads and sees, well, let's be honest, no ones is that stupid.
I do realize that there are those who have voted one way for decades, just because they have never changed ideologies. However, for many of us, it is a matter of how we see our changing world. We may not like what we see, but we can only change that which is in our grasp to change.
I do know, and I'm not sure why exactly, but it does appear that republican politicians do tend to lean toward the idealism that if CEO's and other corporate heads get to keep more money then the rest of us, they will provide more jobs. Which, if one looks back in history as far as the 1920's, as we all know now, it does not work that way. Because if it did, then millions of Americans would not be out of work right now: plus, millions of [legitamet] home owners would not be without the homes they [legally] purchased during the first ten years of this century.
Dreded politics: yes, many people blame politics for the ills of our economy: which, if anybody is paying attention, has improved a lot in the past year. However, if politics is to blame, then we all can be blamed as well, because those who vote, are part of the political system too. Not just Democrats, but republicans as well.
I could rant and rave about how politics could hurt millions more people then all ready have been hurt over the last decade, just by voteing one ticket or the other. However, I'm not sure really if it would do much good. As I see politics, there are those politicians who work for the American People; Then there are those politicians who work more for the corporate heads, just because they can get more benefits then the other politicians, from *those corporate heads. It is merely a matter of hiding those other *benefits better then the other guy or gal in congress. We, as tax, payers pay politicians a salary plus benefits, for working for the American People.
